Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the User and BCI Express. Please read them carefully before using our services. By accessing or using the BCI Express services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

BCI Expressis a company that provides international and domestic shipping services with warehouse networks in several countries (such as the United States, China, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea) and Indonesia.

Useris an individual or entity that uses the services of BCI Express to order, ship, or receive goods.

2. Shipping from Overseas

Ordering products from overseas through BCI Express involves shipping goods from BCI Express warehouses in the agreed countries to warehouses in Indonesia.

  • Shipping Time:Shipping time may vary depending on the delivery location, shipping method (air or sea), and customs processing.
  • Things to Consider:
    • Check the warranty and claim procedures from the product manufacturer.
    • Product instructions may not be available in Indonesian.
    • The product may not meet the standards or specifications applicable in Indonesia.
    • Ensure that the product's electrical specifications conform to Indonesian standards or require additional adapters.
  • BCI Express Responsibilities:BCI Express is not responsible for products that do not meet the applicable specifications or standards in Indonesia after the goods have been received by the User.

3. Domestic Shipping

BCI Express is only responsible for domestic shipping up to the agreed delivery point within the Denpasar area. For shipments outside Denpasar, once the goods are received by the domestic courier, BCI Express is not liable for any damage or delays during the shipping process.

4. Shipping Costs

The displayed fees are the final costs which include:

  • International Shipping Costs:Shipping goods from BCI Express warehouse in the origin country to BCI Express warehouse in Indonesia.
  • Import Tax:Taxes according to the product category and applicable government regulations.

The shipping cost charged to you based on the weight of the goods is the greater of the actual weight and the dimensional weight.

For example, if you are shipping goods via air shipping with an actual weight of 12 KG and dimensions of 213 CM x 23 CM x 22 CM, the shipping cost will be based on the dimensional weight, calculated as follows:

For Air Shipping:

Formula for calculating volumetric weight for air shipping:

Volumetric Weight (Air)=(Length × Width × Height) / 6,000

With the given dimensions, the volumetric weight calculation is:

(213 × 23 × 22) / 6,000=17.96 KG

Therefore, the shipping cost will use the volumetric weight of 17.96 KG.

For Sea Shipping (CBM):

CBM=(Length × Width × Height) / 1,000,000

With this understanding, we hope you gain a better insight into the basis for calculating the shipping costs incurred. We always strive to provide full transparency regarding the fees you are required to pay.

5. Claim for Weight or Volume Discrepancy

A claim can be made if the discrepancy in weight or volume exceeds the specified limits, which are as follows:

  • Air Shipping:The weight discrepancy reaches 1 KG.
  • Sea Shipping:The volume discrepancy reaches 0.1 CBM.

6. Compensation Program

— Compensation Guarantee Fee

Users may choose a compensation guarantee with the following fees:

  • 5% of the total invoice for the shipped goods, with a compensation value of up to 25% of the total invoice for the affected goods.
  • 10% of the total invoice for the shipped goods, with a compensation value of up to 45% of the total invoice for the affected goods.
  • 15% of the total invoice for the shipped goods, with a compensation value of up to 75% of the total invoice for the affected goods.

— Terms and Conditions of Compensation

  • Compensation Disbursement:Can only be disbursed in Rupiah (via transfer or cash).
  • Non-Compensable Goods:Does not apply to fragile items, such as glass and ceramics.
  • Proof of Loss:Users must provide evidence such as the purchase invoice and photos of the received product. Claims without valid proof will be deemed ineligible.
  • Force Majeure Events:Losses caused by force majeure (e.g., natural disasters) are not the responsibility of BCI Express.
  • Compensation Claim Value:Minor or major damages will be calculated based on the type of damage, with major damage receiving 100% of the compensation guarantee value.

— Supplier's Responsibility

BCI Express is not responsible for losses caused by the supplier, such as unsafe packaging or goods that do not match the order.

— Goods Seized by Authorities

If goods are seized by authorities, the processing may take up to 74 days. If the goods are not received after 74 days, BCI Express will provide a loss evaluation under the Major Loss category.

— Uncollected Goods

Goods arriving at BCI Express domestic warehouse (e.g., Denpasar, Bali) that have not been paid for must have their payment and shipment processed immediately. Goods that are not paid for and/or shipped within 45 days of the arrival notice will become the property of BCI Express.

7. Non-Compensation Guarantee

If the compensation guarantee is not selected, the User may still file a claim under the following conditions:

  • Compensation Disbursement:Compensation can only be disbursed in Rupiah (via transfer or cash).
  • Proof of Loss:Users must provide valid evidence, such as the purchase invoice and photos of the product.
  • Compensation Value:Based on the type of shipping, compensation is 5 times the shipping cost for air shipping, and up to 10% of the product price for sea shipping.
  • Shipment Value Limitation:Compensation is only valid for shipments with a product value over IDR 10,000,000.
  • Uncollected Goods:Goods not collected within 29 days of arrival will become the property of BCI Express.
  • Claim Submission Deadline:Claims must be submitted no later than 3 days after the goods are received by the User.

8. Final Decision

The decision made by BCI Express regarding the compensation claim is final and cannot be contested.
